Here at Fair Dinkum Builds, we want to make your outhouse dreams come true. We offer a wide selection of Colorbond sheds in both residential and commercial designs, so we have you covered for whatever you might need some extra space for. Our customers have used our sheds for warehouses, garages, and even barns, so nothing's out of the question! Southerly is one of our newest colours, but it's quickly becoming one of the most popular as an elegant cool grey with pale tones reminiscent of sand.
Design & Customise Your Own Southerly Colorbond Shed
We strongly believe that designing your shed should be one of the most enjoyable parts of buying your new outbuilding - after all, it's when you can get most excited about what's to come! We want to help you design the shed of your dreams, and we do that by giving you the chance to pick every aspect. We'll start off with the size and configuration before moving on to the smaller components such as doors, gutters, windows, the roof pitch, and extra accessories we offer.
To make this even easier and to alleviate some of the pressure from you, we have an app, Shed Designer App, that you can use to play around until you're completely happy with your design. Then your design will be sent to our team of experts to turn it from a mock-up to a real-life vision!

Southerly Colorbond Shed Complimentary Colours
Southerly is an elegant and sophisticated pale grey colour that can be paired with a variety of colours to complement it and turn your shed from a simple design to an amazing focal point. Here are some of the best complementary colours our customers like pairing Southerly with.
COLORBOND® steel
Gully™
COLORBOND® steel
Jasper®

Bluegum®

Shale Grey™

Woodland Grey®
COLORBOND® steel
Monument®

Basalt®
Gully
Gully is a subtle and versatile colour that can pair really well with the natural vibe of Southerly. While it's quite a bit darker than Southerly, both of these colours are reminiscent of coastal shoreline colours and can give your shed a lovely, summery vibe.
Jasper
Jasper comes with a unique and robust charm with a warm brown shade which is very similar to natural dirt, pairing well with the grey Southerly to create a neutral combination and a natural vibe. The red undertones will really shine when the light hits the Jasper colour, so it's a good way to introduce a subtle pop of colour.
Bluegum
Bluegum is a mid-tone grey with a subtle blue hue which automatically works well with Southerly's yellow base. Blue and yellow are complementary colours, so these two grey tones pair perfectly without giving you the vibrancy many shed owners try to avoid.
Shale Grey
Shale Grey is a soft and neutral grey colour that works amazingly with many colours, including Southerly. Shale Grey is only slightly darker than the Southerly shed base, so it's one of the best if you want a gentle monotone look without contrasting components.
Woodland Grey
Woodland Grey is a strong and robust grey colour with a distinct green undertone that lends itself to its natural vibe and strength. Pair this with the gentle Southerly and you have a bright contrast that's not quite as harsh as a charcoal-based alternative.
Monument
Monument is a strong and resilient grey that adds a strong contrast against Southerly for a modernised look. If you want those hard lines and components that pop against the gentle base, Monument might be the best way to go.
Basalt
Basalt is a robust and elegant grey colour that brings out the gentleness of the Southerly grey. Basalt has a charcoal base which makes it strong, but it's not as deep as Monument so it's a good alternative if you want to ease up on the contrasting hardness.
