Do I need planning permission to build a garaport?
For a seamless building process, planning permission is typically required for a new shed or garaport exceeding 10m² in floor area or 3m in height. If situated within 1m of a boundary, the height limit is 2.4m. These rules differ from state to state – so please make sure you give your local Fair Dinkum team a call or check in with your local council on specific requirements for your area.
What are my options when it comes to the size of my garaport?
