What locations are available for a new shed franchise?
We have franchise opportunities all over Australia! Whether you’re from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, or more regional areas like North Queensland and regional WA, there’s a place for you, passionate people, to join the Fair Dinkum Builds family.
Can I own multiple shed franchises?
All new franchisees will start with one franchise; however, many of our successful franchises do own multiple shed franchises, and it is absolutely possible to own more than one once your first business is successful. We’ll also support you in building your network of successful franchises, so if you’re ready to take on more, Fair Dinkum Builds will be with you every step of the way.
What products and services can I sell as part of the shed franchise?
As a Fair Dinkum Builds franchisee, you’ll offer a wide range of products that can be tailored to meet your customers' specific needs. These include sheds, garages, carports, patios, barns, storage & more. You’ll also provide expert guidance, design advice, and personalised solutions to help bring your clients’ dream projects to life.
Will I have my own territory for my shed franchise?
Yes, every Fair Dinkum Build franchise comes with a dedicated territory, so you’ll have your own area to serve your customers without having to worry about overlap. As a result, you can confidently build relationships with your local community and focus on being the go-to provider for shed solutions in your region, all while knowing your investment in the area is secure.
How much does it cost to start a shed franchise?
While this varies based on location, starting a new franchise typically involves the following costs:
- Franchise fee: $20,000 - $40,000
- Setup costs: Approximately $30,000 to establish the premises
- Income buffer: Plan for 3-4 months of personal living expenses during the setup phase.

Are there opportunities to buy existing franchises?
